My Youngest is going to Haiti in March and he is so happy.He has been BEGGING to go every since he was in 2nd grade! It just wasn't the right time for him but now it is..

I remember when he was in 2nd grade and was wanting so desperately to do something for these 18 orphans that his daddy had just went and spent a week with..he decided he wanted to do a penny drive with his class at his school and it ended up being the whole 2nd grade!

He went into each classroom and spoke about Haiti and the 18 orphan girls that lived there and encouraged all of his friends to donate some money because they didn't have anywhere to sit and eat their meals.He wanted to help them buy a table! He didn't want me or his daddy to come and hear him speak (he said it made him nervous) but some of the teachers came up to me on different occasions and said "they had goosebumps when he spoke about his mission for these girls"..That sure makes a mommy smile!

He ended up with the help of the 2nd grade class raising over $400.00 worth of pennies and other change all by himself.I was so proud of him!

Now fast forward 4 yrs and it's time! Time for him to go and love on those girls (some since have been adopted and there are new ones now) but it is his calling for now.I want to go so bad but my hubby is going to go with him.How I would love to be able to share in the moment's he is going to have!

Which leads me to this: He needs to fund raise some of his trip to make it "his"..Yes momma has done well with sales but if he doesn't help with something then I feel like it's been giving to him and I want him do some effort.

So with that said between him and me we are making Dog and Cat hand stamped tags for their collars!

Here is the Cat one,it can have a name and number if you like,if the name is longer then it will go around the bottom for it to fit.

And here is the Dog one!! They are 1" aluminum disks with the charms and the jump ring and are on sale at my ETSY store.

All OF THESE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO HIS TRIP! THEY ARE 8.00 EACH AND S/H IS MORE WHEN BOUGHT.

Loving the Owls

So Christmas is almost here and I am almost done with Christmas orders,but during the time I have been making some stuff for the new year.The look of Owls are everywhere and I love them.I decided to make a few things as well.

This was made for a friend of mine that has been cutting all of my spoons for me! She loves owls too

This was a custom piece for a customer that I came up with..I loved it so much I made myself one!

Finally I had someone that needed 4 disks..and it turned out great!

I had to close the ETSY shop for the rest of the holiday because I couldn't get anymore orders in or I was going to cry!! Literally I had a few melt downs due to being overwhelmed.I just didn't know that it was going to be so busy,I am very very grateful but very very tired too..HA..

The shop will open back up right after the Holidays so the owls will be in there ready for purchasing.

I am linking up to the Christmas Mantel Link Up today at Southern Hospitality..I love my Mantels but I always struggle with them every year.I can't wait too see everyone's pics and maybe get some ideas for next year!

This is my mantel in our living room.I love the look of Deco Mesh and it was very easy to work with.I just spray painted the J and the Y and made the word JOY.

I am pretty sure I got 2nd degree burns with the Hot glue gun this year....

Looking into the room..I LOVE it..

And I also have a mantel in my bedroom.Last year I did a purple black theme but this year I painted so I wanted something more to match.

Looking as soon as you come in the room.

I just used alot of silver and black and lots of bling!

Trees in place of candles! These were from the Dollar Tree last year.

And as my decorating is finished I am on to my job..Making jewelry.I just wanted to share with my reg followers some of my new stuff I have been doing lately.Business has been so good,mainly blessed by God,not sure why he is blessing me with such a great year but I am truly grateful for it.

Tablescapes for Christmas

I am linking up to the Tablescapes for Christmas on a sweet blog..So I do love decorating for the Holidays and had such a great time doing it this year and thought you might like to see some it and then go and check out the linky party and see some AMAZING tables..

This is my Dining Room and I love it.I love everything about this room.I love the table,all the windows and all the light..It is one of my fav rooms but we don't spend alot of time in here!!

I hung up wreaths this year on my windows and it made it more festive

I had these candle holders for a long time just sitting on my table with the walmart mirror.I didn't know what to do with them until I came upon Pinterest and then saw an idea to spray paint them while there are rubber bands attached and they turned out great!!

Then there is the ugly light that I hate! I think I may just spray paint it after the holidays.I do love it like this..not sure if my Hubby would let me keep the green stuff up all year! HA

I used a 31 gift tub to place a small tree in and I think it turned out pretty darn cute! I use this for summer or parties and put drinks or ice in it so it is getting much use for the year.

I got a new table (thanks Mom) for an early Christmas Present and didn't have alot to do with it but I did place a santa and my fav picture

here are a few pics of me and my boys at the local Fantasy of Trees that my work puts on every year.It is a huge assortment of trees all decorated and sold and all proceeds go to my work.I work at a Childrens Hospital and it is all non profit so this is one of our biggest events every year.It is beautiful and I get lots of ideas when we go.

Today is Thanksgiving and I was supposed to work but got to have the day off!! Today I am Thankful for this...Thanksgiving dinner is tonight so today I will play.We are off this am to go and deliever Meals on Wheels to some elderly people that get a lunch delievered to them several times a week.The kids love this and they get to serve as well..

Shopping is tonight or in the am,not sure which one cause I need to see some ads first.Mostly my inside of my house is done.I have lots of ideas for outside though.Wanted to let you see my first Deco Mesh exp. on my mantle.Sorry the pic is bad I took it with my cell phone.This is some neat stuff and I am sure gonna be on my fav list for awhile.Loved it..

Having lots of orders for Christmas with the jewelry this year.I am trying my best to stay caught up and organized and think I am doing a pretty good job at it this year,but the season isn't over yet..

As I start my Christmas Decorating I go thru the house seeing what I can use..and then I see my 31 gifts bucket (I usually put my drinks/Ice in it for gatherings) and I have a thought...Yes another place to stick a tree!! And there ya go!! I filled it with some snow and stuck the tree in the bucket and just placed some snowflakes on it with our initial! Easy as pie...and now I have a another tree hanging in the window for nothing!! My house is not finished yet,I had to stop and work on some jewelry today but I can't wait to show the Grand Tour soon..

Halloween costumes

So I am a RN at a Children's Hospital here in my home town,.I had to work on Halloween so I came up with the idea from a friend of mine for all of us to be Minions from the movie Despicable Me..so I made all the hats (which was not the easiest thing) and then we all wore blue scrubs and yellow shirts with suspenders..

I had to spray paint the hats yellow cause all Hobby Lobby had were white ones.The paint was the fabric spray it was pretty easy! Then took gray foam,white felt for the eyes and I placed black ribbon for the black part but it would not hold up well so I just stapled it to the hat!! Then took a sharpie and colored the staples!

Here is our final pic at work! We even had John our transporter be Mr Gru! He looked awesome.The kids enjoyed it and we had a ball..Now on to think on next years theme!

So while I knew I had to work my boys decided they wanted to dress up to.So I just got them some yellow hoodies and cut some holes in the top,placed the sticky felt with some pipe cleaners and then you had some hair.We had the glasses all ready and painted their faces..Aren't they hilarious??

I'm pretty sure they had fun and this was cheap!!

I stamped some silverware for my friend Angela..She is going to make some wind chimes with them! I also stamped some smaller ones for her herb garden as well.I thought they turned out ok.I had to hit them hard due to the spoon being so thick.

I also have come up with another design for China..My adoption necklaces have taken off and I have such a HUGE heart for adoption so I always love making them.I have China,Africa,Haiti and now a Russia one that are all being worn around the necks of People who are loving on Orphans either in their homes,hearts,or missions!!

Also have you ever thought about sponsoring a child from another country?? Some of you know that I go to Haiti and praying about going to Africa early next year.We are sponsoring Twins from Ghana.They are so cute and I am hoping to get to go and see them when we go there...They are located in an Orphanage and we are paying $25.00 a month (total of $50.00) for them to be fed EVERYDAY!!!

They go by girl is B and boy is E ( I will not place their names on here for specific reasons) but as soon as I saw a pic of them I knew immediately that I needed to help them and I didn't even know if they were sponsored kids or needed sponsorships.I love seeing their faces and more importantly I love knowing that everyday they will have full bellies.

Look at that sweet boy! I bet he is so full of himself and just knows how to make someone laugh..and that sweet girl,she looks like she is more of the "motherly type"..I am honored to be able to do this each month..

So my sweet Friend Allison is expecting a baby girl and just had her Maternity shots done.She has a necklace that I made her that was given to her by her sweet parents (that I think are pretty awesome people).I was looking at her pics today and saw this and just about fell out of my seat! Here is her necklace I made her around her belly...OH...I LOVE IT!!!!!

Baby Kynlee will be here before we know it and I can't wait to meet her.She is going to be one lucky gal having a momma like Alli..

For those that are new to this site..just to get you updated.

I started making jewelry in the year 2009,I wanted to continue to go to Haiti whenever I could go without depending or deleting my money from my savings or taking away the money we as a family would use and started making this..Within a few years God has blessed me and I have been 5 times and getting ready to be the 6th time.I have an chance to go on a trip with some people that I am friends with and although it isn't going to be a medical trip (I have never been on one that wasn't medical) it will be a great trip to just hang out with the girls and spend time with them..

That pic up above is all the girls that live in the Orphanage.I am honestly in love with everyone of them and several (I think 15 now) are in the process of getting adopted in my hometown!! So therefore I will keep making and advertising and selling as much as I can so I can go and love on these girls and the people of Haiti.

And as far as where God is pursing me to go next,Africa is the next place.I am planning a medical trip in March 2012!!

It is almost time for me to go to Haiti again..29 days to be exact..My ticket is paid for and I am so READY..to go and love on some new orphans and to love on the older ones (esp a special one) and to run a clinic for a whole week..God has orchestrated this jewelry business so well to be able to let me go whenever I feel like it and to use this money for this goal...I am now in prayer to go to Africa this summer...so I will continue to make as God allows...

Just wanted to let you see the FAITH bracelets made for the family adopting from Haiti!!!! Please say some prayers for this family.I have recently gotten to talk to them and hopefully get to know them better.They are so sweet and getting ready to go a roller coster ride like none ever.So they need your prayers!!

Also There are always alot of people that come to the giveaway pages and if you have been on here before you know that I love Haiti and I am part of a church that supports an all girls orphanage and do medical mission trips there.If you are a new person that just showed up randomly you can view my profile in the "about me" section and read what my mission is...But there is a Tropical storm called Tomas that is on it's way to Haiti.I am saddened to think that after all this country has been through with the quake,now Cholera and maybe a hurricane I just can't stand it.I love these people and to think that there are people still right now living in tents that are shredded as we speak due to the hot weather and winds allready but now they may have to endure this! My heart is heavy for this country and I need everyone that comes on this page to pray for them.Pray that it changes the pathway or even dies down.Pray for the sick people right now that have Cholera and are dying.God hears our prayers I know this.

This is a new bracelet I made for a couple that are adopting from Haiti...They are bringing home a sweet little girl that I have gotten to hang out with the last few times I have been there and I am so happy for her and for them......FAITH....you have to have it when you go through this adoption process....But GOD pulls you through it and you are doing what you are called to do...Amazing isn't it???

I hope to be one of these people one day relying on FAITH and doing what GOD has called me to do,adopt a child that so desperately needs a family..

Breast Cancer Awareness Bottlecap Necklaces

Bottlecaps....I love them..I think they are so cute!! Anyway since October is Breast Cancer Month I made some Breast Cancer bottlecap necklaces and they are doing so well with sales.I thought I might share some with you,let me know what you think about them....
I have known several women that have fought breast cancer,some are survivors and some did not make it,I have not had anyone in my immediate family fight this disease.I am amazed at the strength of women when they have been told "you have breast cancer"..Most of the women I know have fought it hard for themselves and for their families.That is the strength that I want to have..Strength,Hope.....

I am loving these..Seems to be something that alot of people are requesting..I have to tell you

about this piece of jewelry..I have a friend that lost her sister to cancer,she wanted a necklace

made but she wanted "God is the ultimate healer" on the necklace because this was the last thing that she

said before she passed away...I made another necklace with her words and I have sold 3 since then

with the same words..I told my friend that even here on earth her sister is still speaking to us...

AMAZING....there are people wearing her last words around their necks,and maybe one person

see's this and asks what all of if means and isn't a Christian...and that person gets to tell them all

about Jesus....so Kristie's words are alive...and powerful...

This is my newest creation that has meaning! I made this in honor of sweet Atanie.She is one of

our Orphans that lost her life in the earthquake in Haiti.Our church supports this orphanage and it is gone now.We are in the process of raising money to rebuild for our girls that still live in a nearby orphanage.Atanie was an angel that was getting ready to be in the process of being adopted to a family in our church..Right now there are 5 girls and 1 boy that belong to my church that have been adopted and there are 4 other girls that are in the process.Needless to say we love adoption and this is why I made this necklace.

Atanies Hope is going to be the name of Our new orphanage and this necklace is Hope and 20% of the proceeds will go to Atanies Hope in honor of this sweet angel that I have got to meet twice on my last trips.

I love this one!! 4 ever with a heart wing charm on top of it.Would be

great for a wedding present or for your husband to give you..HINT HINT..

Another one I love..This was made with a man in mind (ladies,here is

something nice for your man in your life) but I think a woman could wear

it as well.I can change the cross to be more girly...I love the copper

and the silver together..

As summer is ending for us.My kids start back to school in 1 week.These are my fav pieces that I did this summer.I loved the one with the starfish.This was originally made for an adoption agency director and I just placed it in my ETSY shop and it has been a HUGE hit.

Haiti is almost here...

In almost less that 3 weeks I will be serving the people of haiti...I want to thank everyone that has purchased jewelry from me in the last few months..This has been great and once again I know that when God wants you to go,he provides the funds..This is my 3rd trip in almost 2 yrs and I can't wait to share with you all the joy of serving these people and more importantly serving Our Lord Jesus Christ...

to miscarriages and I never want them to be forgotten because she loved and wanted them so much..
